Yesterday I visited Claes Iversen's S/S11 runway show and it was simply beautiful. He's one to watch! His chic and modern collection centered around butterflies and I would wear pretty much everything he showed us. Here are some of my snapshots!

In times of a tight budget and orientation towards a new season I can get cought up as to what (not) to buy. Each season I want it all new, new, new and that's simply not an option. So I started off easy, with an accessory. Meet my new oversized blackish clutch with reptile skin geometrical shapes that I picked up at H&M - I keep finding good stuff there!

I don't think anyone could say no to these S/S10 plexiglass Prada shoes when they're staring at you from the sale rack at Barneys. I went right for the footwear at their huge venue and it was between these and suede Opening Ceremony booties - unfortunately they were stained so I opted for these. (And an elderly lady telling me I was 'working those shoes, and all I needed was a little fish to put in the heels' made me go for it)

Happy b-day Glamour

Just got home from Glamour magazine's big birthday bash for their 5 year anniversary, congrats! I had a good time eating their delicious cupcakes, listening to Valerius, taking pictures and having fun with Sabrina and Andy. Now I'm gonna roll up on the couch in a big knit with my new triple-thick Glamour and some supermarket sushi.

With all the emphasis on coats this season, there's a lot to choose from. Pretty parka's, camel coats and aviator jackets will make sure to keep us warm. After inspecting some of the cutest styles, I realised I had a shearling jacket from a few years back that looked a lot like the Acne Rita pictured above. It's still the most expensive purchace I ever made but I'm not sure how I feel about it because I'm more in to black than brown. Which coat will you be wrapping around yourself this winter?

Los Angeles, with it's fast paced, tough exterior and giant distances, might not be a right fit for everyone. It's not cozy and comforting but that makes it all the more fascinating...

These were taken little over a week ago, but it seems a lot longer because we've seen so much since. I've already collected a lot of great memories to this USA trip! And I'm seeing a few places again that I visited 12 years ago on a similar road trip with my parents and twin brother. Doing it all by myself and as an adult is a whole different experience though... It makes me even more grateful that my parents took us to so many different countries and showed us the world is bigger than your backyard :)
