Outfits: Paris FW day 2

Between orange leaves falling down at Jardin des Tuileries, the burning sun and absurd heat at show venues, I figured the best option was to mix my spring wardrobe with fall pieces. Black and neon with a splash of metallic, there you go.
Crazy how long ago these pictures from last Friday already seem (and how non-glamorous I am now with gauge bandages wrapped from the tip of my toes to my ankle).

Outfits: Paris FW day 1

Starting off this PFW post with a highlight: I visited the Viktor & Rolf show which was such a spectacle and can't really be described in words so I'll show you the pictures soon ;)

Things have gone a little slower posting wise because I got a Fashion Week injury. I (probably) got stung by something on my right foot and had a major allergic reaction. It started swelling up on the second day and is now three times it's size, very painful, and I can't even move my toes (let alone fit in to my shoes! These pics were taken on the first day, before this happened). We've visited the most insufficient hospital in the world last night until 3 at night - and after hours of waiting they tried to send us home with just a prescription! (Hello, there must be antibiotics somewhere in that place) At which point we got so angry they gave us some. And credit where credit is due: thank god I had Sabrina with me. Anyway, this is our last day and even though I can barely walk I know I will enjoy every second :)

Back to the outfit, I was wearing:

Gestuz galaxy dress
COS rose gold bracelets
Balenciaga bag
Deena&Ozzy shoes

Rolled up, zipped down

It's been waaay too long since I've worn these burgundy skinnies. They were somewhere in the back of my mind (and my closet) and magically appeared last week. Perfect to pair with cream or white now that we sort of have summer back, but really anything goes with this color.

Outfit: Late summer

Experiencing some sort of late summer in Amsterdam... Ah-mazing! And even though I've been spending most time inside kicking this flu, there's nothing like waking up with bright sunlight on my balcony.

Fashion Week flashbacks

Getting ready for Paris Fashion Week in a few day! What better way to get in the mood then looking back at some outfits I wore on last year's visit. I'll be boarding a morning train with Sabrina, sleep in a cute hotel, visit shows, shop, sightsee and I can't wait... Make sure to follow my Fashion Week adventures on Twitter and on my new Facebook page!

Outfits: Days like this

Ended up on a train to Antwerp yesterday... nothing like a spontaneous city trip! We mixed shopping (I can't wait to show you the shoes I got) with sightseeing and classic Belgium food - something that calls for comfort. So I came prepared in my black ballet flats.

Laid back look

Today is one of those weird moments in between seasons that I love because it allows me to wear shorts or skirts with a thin knit. I'm off to hang out in the parc with a girlfriend that was in Australia for six months, so my look of the day is all about comfort. And what are you up to this weekend?

River Island denim cut offs

Outfit: Last day of summer

Took full advantage of the last summer day this weekend and went bare legged while I still can. Gradually adapting to the idea of fall though, by wearing a leather skirt and jumper. Sadly I'm back to being my pale self, somehow I can't hold on to a tan for longer than a week or two (I swear tried this summer!)

Zara black leather skirt
H&M navy jogger shirt
Shampalove clutch
Dannijo iPhone case
Iosselliani and Fashionology rings

Outfit: Snakeskin and sportswear

Truth is that in the handful of times that I've worn these Prada's, I was visiting parties, dinner dates or appointments with little walking involved. A day in heels is no challenge for me (I mean, have you seen my shoe collection?) but somehow this pair kind of is. But since they're so pretty I take them on little outings every few months, and a bonus is they stay in great condition that way.

Outfit: Playing favorites

The one upside to transitioning in to fall is that you get to bring out some of your favorite, cozy pieces (for a leather lover like me, that's good news). This beige and black jumper made its way in to my wardrobe a few months ago and because it's so affordable and easy to wear I got another one recently. I like pairing leather pants with casual knits, it makes everything a bit softer and casual.
